So if you are familiar with apps like Yelp or AroundMe or Healthgrades or Easy Local or any of these apps, there’s like 70 plus different directories online. And it’s really important that your business name, your business address, and your business phone number show up consistently the same, the exact same across all these platforms.
Why? When you show up the same, this shows Google that you are a legitimate business. So if you’re not on all these platforms, it may cause you to not rank at all on the maps. So when people are looking for TMS practice near me or regenerative medicine practice near me or ketamine clinic near me, if you’re not consistent across these different directories, they might may not even find you and you want people to find you. It helps you to rank on your Google maps when people Google you to show up on the map as one of the top three, and it also helps you to rank organically on Google.
