“Hey, this is Scott Theaman back again to talk to you about sales, marketing, conversion and helping you grow your practice. And what I want to talk to you guys today about, is this concept of hiring in house for marketing versus hiring an agency like ours to do your marketing. And here’s what I want to bring to your attention. If you were to bring somebody in, do they know how to do funnels? Do they know how to do Facebook ads, Google analytics? Do they know how to track it and are they committed to training your other staff, who by the way, this is not just about Facebook and funnels, this is about the in-office conversion. It’s about everything. It’s a holistic approach, right? The person you were to hire, would they take that holistic approach or are they just working for a paycheck? Now, I’ll give you an example, right?
Our clients pass anywhere between two and $10,000 a month. Let’s just take 3K, 3K a month. That’s $36,000 a year. If you were to bring in an employee and pay them 3000 a month, $36,000 a year, right? That’s a probably a reasonable employee for a non-doctor or a entry level position like this. And you could take that 3K and invest it in a person who may not know about conversion pixels, lookalike audiences, custom conversion sales conversion staff training. They may not know about that. Or you could take those same dollars, Oh and then by the way, you’re going to have all the liability of that person being an employee, paying benefits, payroll, that expense of that, right? Or you can hire an agency where we eat, live, breathe and sleep this stuff. And most importantly, we focus on the in-office stuff to train your staff.
Because if we can’t train your staff and help them convert what we do for you online, it’s useless, right? So you can take that 3K or 4K, $48,000 a year and pay an in house marketing person who may not have the same level of expertise. Or you can invest that with an agency where you have no liability as far as employee benefits or payroll or anything like that. And in fact, you could fire us, right? Let’s say if a marketing person, sure you could fire them too, but you have that expense as the salary. Versus us, the average client stays with us 12 to 18 months. Look, if we can’t fix you in 18 months, we don’t deserve your business.
But I just want you to keep that in mind. Where would your dollars go further? With a marketing agency like ours that specializes in everything from the front end to training your staff to conversion and generating you ROI or with an employee who may not have the same sort of intention, right? They’re just showing up for a paycheck. We’re showing up every day to keep and earn your business. So it’s a completely different paradigm and I hope that makes sense to you. And by the way, if they can do this, you don’t even need to hire us. But something to keep in mind. So I hope this makes sense to you guys.
